As part of our normal daily business activities, Audiovox Corporation is a proud member or affiliate of several business and trade organizations and we have employees who fill key positions on the boards of some of those organizations. They help guide market initiatives and business policies that drive the markets in which we trade.

Listed here are some of the organizations we support:

The Consumer Electronics Association
The Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) program is the only nationally recognized program that certifies mobile electronics installation technicians and sales people on the installation techniques and capabilities of automotive information technology, entertainment, navigation and safety/security systems. MECP awards Basic Installation Technician, Advanced Installation Technician, Master Installation Technician and Mobile Product Specialist certifications to mobile electronics professionals who pass a written exam and meet the experience criteria.
 
The Consumer Electronics Association
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) consists of more than 1000 companies within the United States consumer technology industry. They are the leading source of exclusive information and unparalleled market research, networking opportunities with business advocates and leaders, up-to-date educational programs and technical training, exposure.
 
Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association
The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) is a global trade association of about 2,200 companies that specialize in planning and installing electronic systems for the home. These systems include home networking, home automation and communication systems, media rooms, single or multi-room entertainment systems, and integrated whole-house subsystems providing control of lighting, security and HVAC systems.
 
The Electronics Industries Foundation
The Electronics Industries Foundation is now known as the Electronics Industries Alliance (EIA). EIA provides a forum for industry to develop standards and publications throughout the electronics and high-technology industries. The EIA also proactively addresses environmental concerns and actively works to reduce the environmental impact of electronic products and manufacturing processes where technically feasible.
 
Hauppauge Industrial Association
The Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA) has a membership of approximately 1,000 companies throughout Long Island and focuses on the economic health and well-being of its member companies and that of the entire Long Island business community. HIA provides services and programs focusing on international trade, human resources, business development, Government affairs, manufacturing, technology, environment, education, engineering, transportation and energy
 
The Specialty Equipment Market Association
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has over 5,200 members, consisting of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, auto restorers, street rod builders, restylers, car clubs and race teams; companies and organizations who buy, sell and use specialty parts and accessories to make vehicles more attractive, more unique and safer. Today, SEMA has evolved into an international trade association, which serves and embraces a diverse constituency representing the full spectrum of the specialty automotive equipment industry
 
The Long Island Association
The Long Island Association (LIA) advocates the interests of, and promotes cooperation among, the business, labor, educational, scientific, technology, not-for profit and civic communities. As Long Island's Chamber of Commerce, LIA provides valuable services and programs/representation to its membership organizations, particularly the small business community.
 
The Long Island Imprit-Export Association
The Long Island Import Export Association (LIIEA) provides assistance to companies involved in the importing or exporting of products or services. LIIEA services include seminars presented by recognized professionals in legal issues, U.S. customs finance, sales and marketing as well as putting companies having similar interests in all aspects of international trade together.
 
Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association
The Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (MERA) is the association of retailer-professionals, marketing products and services that enhance the driving experience using mobile electronics products. MERA provides retailers with educational seminars and workshops, designed to give its members the ability to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
 

The Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA) focuses on building Well Workplaces - organizations that are dedicated to the health of their employees. The Well Workplace process provides business leaders and members with a structure or blue print to help their organizations build results-oriented wellness programs. Ultimately these programs help employees make better lifestyle choices, and positively impact the organization's bottom line.
 
National Safety Council
To educate and influence society to adopt safety, health and environmental policies, practices and procedures that prevent and mitigate human suffering and economic losses arising from preventable causes.
